Delete your Zippy Town data

This page is for the Zippy Town Android app on Google Play (package digital.overvieweffect.zippytown), published by the Zippy Town developer account. Zippy Town has no user accounts. We cannot look you up by Play Store email or name, and we cannot reliably find or delete a specific person’s analytics.

How to remove data

On your phone: uninstall Zippy Town, or clear the app’s storage in Android settings. That immediately deletes wallpaper settings, hunt progress, analytics consent, and other data stored only on the device.
If you keep the app: open Zippy Town → Settings and turn off “Share usage analytics” so no new anonymous events are sent.
Purchases: use Google Play account tools for Zippy Town Pro. We cannot delete records Google holds.

Emailing us does not let us locate your analytics. There is nothing in those events that ties them to a Play account, email address, or name.

What is deleted, and how

On your device: wallpaper settings, hunt progress, and app storage. Deleted only when you uninstall or clear app data. We never receive hunt photos; if you saved or shared a photo, delete that copy in Photos or the app you shared to.
Anonymous analytics and crash reports (only if you allowed usage analytics): app opens, screens, settings, hunt events, and crashes, tagged with a random install id that is not your Google account. We cannot identify which events are yours, so we cannot delete them on request. They are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.

What we cannot delete

Google Play purchases (Zippy Town Pro): payment and purchase records stay with Google for as long as needed to provide the purchase, refunds, and Play policy. We never see your card details.
Google Play ratings and reviews submitted through the in-app review prompt are held by Google Play.
zippy.town website logs and analytics: Cloudflare may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address) while serving the site, and the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. That measurement is cookieless and contains no identifier for a visitor, so there is no per-person record to find or delete — only aggregate totals for the site. This is the website only; the Android app does not use it. You can block static.cloudflareinsights.com to opt out of it entirely.

How long information is kept

On-device data stays until you clear it or uninstall. Anonymous analytics are deleted automatically within 90 days of collection. Play purchase retention follows Google.
